Over 10 Years Ago They Said the Same about Shaikh ‘Abdul ‘Azeez bin Baaz, Shaikh Muhammad bin Saleh al ‘Uthaymeen and Shaikh Muhammad Nasirul Deen al Albani

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Over 10 Years Ago They Said the Same about Shaikh ‘Abdul ‘Azeez bin Baaz, Shaikh Muhammad bin Saleh al ‘Uthaymeen and Shaikh Muhammad Nasirul Deen al Albani not declare the Muslims to be out of the fold of Islam.[1]

Recently the Takfeerees or our time – also known as the Hadadiyoon – have begun to label our beloved Shaikh and teacher Rabe’a bin Hadee al Madkhali (حفظه الله تعالى) as being from the Murjiyah. This is nothing new; they did the same with Shaikh ‘Abdul ‘Azeez bin Baaz, Shaikh Muhammad bin Saleh al ‘Uthaymeen, and Shaikh al Albani (رحمهم الله) over 10 years ago! Not only that, they also curse Shaikh Rabe’a and supplicate to Allah to enter him into the Hell-fire,[1] which is a clear example of their takfeeree traits. This is what they will do to every scholar who clarifies the truth and refutes their deviation and innovation. Consequently, it’s vital for Ahlus Sunnah to be aware of this reality and remain firm upon the truth especially as the fitnah increases and multiplies.

Over ten years ago, Shaikh Saleh al Fowzan (حفظه الله) was asked:

May Allah bless you oh noble scholar! The questioner asks:

There are some youth who accuse Shaikh ‘Abdul Azeez bin Baaz and Shaikh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen of being present day Murjiyah, and they claim that they are the most deviant (individuals) of this Ummah. What is your advice for these individuals?

The Shaikh (حفظه الله) responded:

At any rate, this is not strange. The individual who does not agree with their desires, they accuse him of being from the Murjiyah or (from) other (deviant) groups. They accused Ibn Baaz and Ibn ‘Uthaymeen of Irjah because they did not oppose the rulers and they did not declare the Muslims to be out of the fold of Islam.[2] These individuals want them to do that but when they weren’t able to accomplish this, they accused them of falling into Irjah. Their accusations are based on desires – we seek refuge in Allah. Their accusations against these two Imams are not accurate. We have only known good from them and that they are upright and just. We know them to be eager in their adherence to the Quran, the Sunnah and the way of the Salaf as Saleh. This is what we have learned from them and this is what we know from them – may Allah have mercy upon them.

Thus, when they (Shaikh Ibn Baaz and Ibn ‘Uthaymeen رحمهما الله تعالى) did not conform to their desires and evil incitements, they labeled them with Irjah, because the person who does not declare the Muslims to be out of the fold of Islam is a Murji in their opinion.

The Salafi Teacher Doesn’t Teach at Any and Every Masjid

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

The Salafi Teacher Doesn’t Teach at Any and Every Masjid!

By Sheikh Saleh bin Fowzan al Fowzan

Our beloved teacher, Sheikh Saleh bin Fowzan al Fowzan was asked the following question 2 weeks ago (12 Rabe’a ath Thani 1435h | 12 February 2014):

In England, we have some masajid (plural of masjid) which invite students of knowledge whom are upon the methodology of the Sunnah, for the purpose of teaching Tawheed or to give lectures on Tawheed. The following day (thereafter), the same masajid will invite a teacher whom follows the Sufi or Ash’aree methodology, and that person will teach their methodology to the people. Is it permissible for the Sunni caller/teacher to accept such an invitation and teach in these masajid?

The Sheikh responded:

No, this is not permissible. If these masajid merge (the teachings and lectures of) the Sunni teacher and an innovator or a deviant, it is not permissible for the Sunni teacher to accept this invitation. This is because, these masajid are actually using him as a disguise and they are covering themselves by way of him. They say (to the people): We teach Tawheed and we listen to lectures in Tawheed!

This action is not correct because it is a combination of truth and falsehood. The Sunni teacher can only accept the invitation after they agree to his condition. He must impose a condition upon them and inform them that he will only teach and deliver lectures, if they agree that they will not invite individuals whom are in opposition to what he is teaching and calling them to (of the truth).

The Masjid of The People of Innovation is Cleaner and More Comfortable….!!!

The Masjid of The People of Innovation is Cleaner and More Comfortable….!!!

Answered by Sheikh Saleh al Fowzan at the end of his lesson on 28 Thul Hijjah 1434h. | Saturday November 2nd, 2013

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Question: Some people in our country pray and attend the masaajid (plural of masjid) of the people of innovation and desires. When we advise them, they respond:

These masaajid are cleaner and more comfortable than the masaajid of Ahlu Sunnah!

How should we respond to their statement, and is it allowed for them to perform this action?

Answer: If this person intends to go to the masaajid of the people on innovation for the purpose of admonishing them, correcting them, and displaying the Sunnah, then there is no problem in him doing so; this is something good. As for him saying that they (the masaajid of the people of innovation and desires) are cleaner and, and… This speech is erroneous, and it is an indication that he prefers the people of innovation over the people of the Sunnah. This is a very dangerous affair. In addition, why doesn’t he clean the masaajid of the people of the Sunnah? He should seek reward from Allah and clean the masaajid, or find someone to clean them.

(Q&A at end of lesson)

Translator’s comment:

The speech of our beloved father is a clear indication that the people of the Sunnah should act upon the following:

  1. They should strive to be in the company of the people of the Sunnah
  2. They should strive to help with the upkeep of the masaajid of the people of the Sunnah
  3. They should be diligent and eager in providing any and all forms of support (physical, financial, etc.) to the masaajid of the people of the Sunnah
  4. Those in charge of the masaajid should try their best to thorough keep these places of worship clean, comfortable, and free of all harms (shirk, innovation, fitna, hizbiyah, dirt, filth, gossip, backbiting, etc.)[1]
  5. If a person of the Sunnah attends a masjid of the people of innovation, he should admonish them, correct them, or call them to the Sunnah.

May Allah guide us to that which is pleasing to Him, and may He grant us love of the people of the Sunnah.

[1] Sheikh Saleh ala Sheik said: It is upon the individuals responsible in the masjid to make it a place of good, kindness, and learning. They should likewise make it a place of comfort, relaxation, unity of the hearts, assisting upon good, righteousness and taqwa. (Al Aimah wa Muathinoon pg. 5)

Sheikh Ahmad an Najmi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Being that the masjid is the source of all good, it is mandatory upon those who are responsible for the masjid to only allow those who are qualified to run it. Those who teach in it, it should be known by way of their lectures, sermons, speeches and lessons, that they call to that which is supported by the Book, the Sunnah and the guidance of the Salaf as Saleh. As for the individual who is accused; based on proofs, that he is a hizbee and he spreads, supports and calls to innovation, they should forbid this person from teaching in the masjid.  (Dawr al Masjid fil Islam pg.90)

Important Benefit from Sheikh Muhammad bin Saleh al ‘Uthaymeen Related to Marriage and Observing that which is Apparent

Important Benefit from Sheikh Muhammad bin Saleh al ‘Uthaymeen Related to Marriage and Observing that which is Apparent

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

While explaining the hadeeth of Fatimah bint Qaes (may Allah be pleased with her); in which she approached the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم and informed him that individuals have approached her for marriage, upon hearing the names of these individuals the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم replied:
As for Abu Jahil, he does not remove the stick from his shoulder (he beats women), and as for Mu’awiyah, he is poor. Instead, marry Usamah. (Saheeh Muslim)

====================================================================================================
Sheikh ‘Uthaymeen commented (in summary):
If it were said: How can the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم say: “As for Mu’awiyah, he is poor”, while he (the Prophet) doesn’t know? It’s possible he (Mu’awiyah) will become wealthy (in the future). And actually, this did take place. Mu’awiyah became a ruler; in fact he became one of the wealthiest rulers.
Thus, we say: From this hadeeth a vital benefit can be derived, which is: That which should be considered is what is apparent, not what will possibly occur in the future. Pay close attention to this principle. An individual is not commissioned to (consider) matters of the unseen, but rather, he is responsible for that which is in front of him.
Consequently, we know the answer for a commonly mentioned question (issue). This occurs when a man who is not religious seeks to marry a religious female. The female would like to marry him and thus she says: It’s possible that Allah will guide this man by way of me. This action may or may not occur in the future. She does not know, but that which is presently apparent is that this individual is not religious. If the female was to say: It is possible that Allah will guide him by way of me, we will respond: It is (also) possible that Allah will lead you astray by way of him! Both of these outcomes are possible, and you (the female) being led astray by way of the man is more likely, due to the fact that the authority and influence of the man over the woman is much greater than her authority and influence over him. Likewise, how many men put pressure on their wives to perform something that the husband wants, and due to his pressure, the female falls into something she herself dislikes. This is something which is known and proven. The most important benefit in this issue is that a person is responsible for that which is apparent, not that which will may or may not occur in the future.

Translator’s note:

May Allah have mercy upon our beloved Sheikh and father Sheikh Muhammad bin Saleh al ‘Uthaymeen. Indeed his statements and clarifications are filled with wisdom and sound understanding. The advice of the Sheikh can also be applied to the common day belief of many sisters (when approached for marriage by individuals not upon the methodology of the Salaf): I know he’s not Salafi, but ان شاء الله he will come to the minhaj through my guidance and direction! Then after a few months, we find the sister attending the gatherings of the people of innovation and those supporting them! We have even witnessed sisters falling into major shirk, innovation, and defending the callers to hizbiyah due to being married to individuals not upon the methodology of the Salaf. Similarly is the statement of some females, when approached for marriage by an individual who has a proven reputation of mistreatment of women, you find some women saying: I will be the one to change him! Or: He will never treat me the way he treated others! These spurious statements and the likes are clear examples of how females place themselves in dreadful predicaments as it relates to marriages.
May Allah guide our women to that which is better, and may He keep us all firm upon the straight path.

Shaikh Muqbil’s Statement about Shaikh Rabe’a bin Hadee

Shaikh Muqbil’s Statement about Shaikh Rabe’a bin Hadee

Bismillahi Rahmaan ar Raheem

Shaikh Muqbil (may the mercy of Allah be upon him) mentioned concerning Shaikh Rab’ea bin Hadee:

… from amongst the individuals who are very knowledgeable about parties and groups during present times is the brother Rabe’a bin Hadee al Mudhkalee (may Allah preserve him). The person who Rabe’a informs is a hizbee, his affair will eventually become apparent and exposed after some time, and you will remember (that Shaikh Rabe’a warned of him). A person’s affair initially is unknown and that individual doesn’t want to expose himself, but if he becomes more popular and gains a following and he no longer is worried about what is said concerning him, he exposes what he holds (his true beliefs and methodology).

Misleading Statements (Shaikh Muhammad Bazmoul)

Misleading Statements (Shaikh Muhammad Bazmoul)

Misleading Statements

The statement: The Shaikh is affected by the people around him (those who speak to him).

Shaikh Muhammad Bazmoul commented on this statement:

Beware of such a statement oh my brothers, for indeed it is the statement of the people of innovation and desires! I have heard this statement being mentioned concerning the likes of Shaikh Bin Baaz and Shaikh al Albani (may Allah have mercy on them), and I have heard it mentioned about other scholars.

This statement is incorrect in several ways:

1. It is belittlement of the scholar because it indicates that he is not accurate and he accepts anything mentioned to him by his students. The origin of the affair of a scholar is that he is trustworthy and accurate, and therefore this statement is in opposition to this origin. With this being the case, the person who makes such an allegation must present proofs for his claim or it is befitting that his claims is rejected and not accepted.

2. The likes of this statement was forbidden by Allah concerning what was being said about His Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the scholars; those who inherit from the prophets. Allah said in the Qur’an:

{Among them are those who annoy the Prophet and say: He is lending his ear to all news. Say: He listens to what is best for you; he believes in Allah, has faith in the believers, and is a mercy to those of you who believe. But those who annoy Allah’s Messenger will have a painful torment.} Surah at Taubah: 61

Imam at Tabari mentioned in his book of Tafseer in explanation to this verse, he said:

Allah is informing that from amongst the hypocrites are groups who seek to annoy the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and reprimand him by saying: He freely lends his ear. He listens to everyone who speaks to him and he accepts and believes their speech….

Shaikh Muhammad Bazmoul further explained:

Consequently, this statement was mentioned by the hypocrites concerning the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and now it is being used by the people of innovation and ignorance to belittle the scholars and abandon their statements and knowledge. By performing this action, they have imitated the action of the hypocrites. Indeed there is no might or change except by the permission of Allah!

3. This statement is used by individuals to refute the statements of the scholars concerning individuals and issues. Indeed this is from the most despicable of affairs. The statement of a scholar is only rejected based on valid, legislated proofs and evidences. Is this statement (the scholar is affected by those around him) considered a valid, legislated proof and evidence?!

4. This statement contains several dangers. From its dangers is that it creates a lack of trust for the scholar concerning his speech and rulings. Certainly the more the people trust the scholar, the more they trust his knowledge.

5. This statement removes and decreases the awe and reverence the students of knowledge have for the scholar.

Advice From Sheikh Rabe’a Concerning Minhaj

Advice From Sheikh Rabe’a Concerning Minhaj Jun 29, ’09 5:43 PM
for everyone

This past Friday, the 21st of Muharram, Shaykh Rabee’ ibn Haadee spent some precious time [two hours!] with his students, clarifying the correct manhaj in dealing with the one who errs, and other important affairs. The following points were discussed:

* Those who fall into error are upon many different levels and are to be dealt with accordingly. Important factors are taken into consideration like:

– the level of the mistake
– the origin of the mistaken one (is he from Ahlus-Sunnah originally)
– his position towards Ahlus-Sunnah who correct him (animosity or humility)
– his position/status among the people
– and others

* When we find Salafees who are reckless in their speech about those who err, we must correct them and not encourage this recklessness. He mentioned the mistake of those who believe that harshness is beneficial overall to the da’wah and that the best of the Salafees are the harshest of them. Rather, the shaykh asked, “If you see someone on fire, are you going to pour gasoline on them?”

* Advising our brothers to be patient, easy on the people, and not to jump to conclusions is not a kind of tamyee’. Rather, both tamyee’ and ghuluww must be avoided.

* The shaykh said that he recognizes that many of the Salafees do not know the manhaj and they are weak and have mistakes. This does not necessitate discarding them or warning against them in itself. A big problem that exists is that many of the Salafees do not know when to advise and when to warn against someone when they see mistakes. The first thing they do is warn and boycott without having proper knowledge. This is something harmful to the da’wah.

* The shaykh, may Allaah reward him and increase him in good health, recommended us to read Shaykh al-Islaam’s letter to the people of Bahrayn, which can be found in the Fataawaa [6/485-505]. He mentioned that many benefits can be taken from these few pages with regards to how we should deal with the mistakes of the people.

May Allaah help us all to actualize the advice of our mashaayikh, and grant us firmness.

I also convey glad tidings that our shaykh’s health is much better now, and he was very vigorous and active in this sitting. May Allaah preserve him and grant him long life.

[Unfortunately, the sitting was not recorded.]
